@layman... After you right click on Realtek High Definition Audio, click on Update Driver Software then pick the one on the bottom which says Browse my computer for driver software then click on browse and then find the folder...

Probably related to the drivers power management which will exist in all driver versions as it's a feature, see this:

No luck with that solution Still got the "shhhhh" sound, using 6.0.1.7634, any ideas??

Finally got them to work i uninstalled my realtek installed these, at first the realtek sound manager did not show i went into the program folder clicked it, the sound manager opened i unchecked show in taskbar then re clicked it show in taskbar, and there it was, it was now down there , and on reboot it still is there all seems a ok now, and my sound is a lot louder then it was as well. I contacted MSI who told me that microsoft is having issues with realtek sound stuff and that if it leaves again that it's a MS issue and i will have to wait for a update.

Congrats! Didn't you try opening sound manager before either via Start Menu or Program Folder and then toggle the show in taskbar?

Whenever I update to a new driver, I use the setup.exe instead of device manager so it will uninstall, reboot, then install, reboot and then I have to open the Sound Manager from either the Start Menu or Control Panel and toggle it on as it is always off after the update.

    Hi everybody
With every realtek audio driver I get the message "You are seeing a blank page because there is no audio devices plugged..." in the small window popup that opens when you click in the Realtek Audio Manager icon in notification area.

I've tried many driver versions and the only ones that doesn't show this are older drivers for windows 8 (windows 10 not officially supported)

Despite this message I have no problems with audio, everything works normally.

    Is anyone having this problem?

I had no network connection after upgrading to this version. I had to roll back the driver to what I had before - 9.1.401.2015 - which I think came from the update to Windows 10. Are people using this version 10xxx driver successfully?
