Tatsumak,
That's because you downloaded the version for Waves Maxxaudio. You need the latest Dolby version of their drivers.

is that the one he posted the waves max one if so i don't need that thank god i didn't install that wow. is the one that was posted earlyer this one ftp://ftp3.realtek.com.tw/Realtek/Ge..._Win7_WHQL.zip the latest realtek HD one?
They are all HD but when surround sound is involved, it requires support for the chipsets since Dolby, Waves are all different audio technologies, they support generic + that I think...
OK so which one would i really need for this board Almighty1 MSI USA - Computer, Laptop, Notebook, Desktop, Mainboard, Graphics and more please advise as i been just using the micrsoft one from there update catalog but would like to use a full version at some point. Please Advise. OH the THX true studio it list is no longer being made so i don't have it anymore,
I just downloaded the latest, didn't know about different models or whatever it was called. I need directions here to know if I have to wait for Microsoft or I can make it work right now. My mobo is GIGABYTE - Placa-Mãe - Socket AM3+ - GA-990FXA-UD3 (rev. 4.0)
It has to be specifically for your system too since the one I have only works on the ASUS G74SX Notebook...
Have you tried the one listed on the Gigabyte downloads area to see if the Dolby works or not? There is a thread about your motherboard here...
