Just a question. My mobo with the drivers that came with it, have Dolby Digital Plus software. If this new Realtek driver works with the optical on Windows 10, to have the Dolby software I'll have to wait the mobo manufacturer to release a new driver that contains it?
That's a very good question and only thing i could say is if you have the software or the driver you have now somewhere, go ahead and try this one, only thing could happen is it don't function right and if it does then great , but if not then you have the other one and just reinstall it.
Their drivers are so large because they encompass many chips for backward compatibility. Just look at .inf file and you'll see just how many versions are in in one file.
Just to inform, I'll gonna try this driver, since it's the last stable and WHQL version.

Huh i thought this one was the latest posted in thread earlyer ftp://ftp3.realtek.com.tw/Realtek/Ge..._Win7_WHQL.zip
You see the version that I had posted is superior to yours.
I see it here: Station-Drivers - Forum - Driver: Realtek HD Audio 6.0.1.7496 WHQL-April 27, 2015 (103/104)
Here with my report. The driver "worked", it gave me sound and maintained the Dolby software. The test didn't gave any error, direct on optical and on DTS/Dolby, with sound output on 5.1. But that's it, in any others tests (music player, youtube, games) the sound is only stereo, working only on the 2 front speakers. The thing is, in the advanced tab on sound properties, I don't have the option of 5.1 channels, either DTS or Dolby. I think the only way is to wait Microsoft, I really have to give up, I'm tired of trying.
