    Yes, that extraction warning is normal with these cabs. Glad you got it installed.

    Just tried the link above and got a
    "530 something or other error message

    Tip   Tip

    • You will need to have cookies enabled, check the accept box, click Next, and click on the High Definition Audio Codecs (Software) link before it will take you to the actual Realtek HD audio driver download page.
    • You can download a ZIP version or the EXE version of the driver.
    • When the driver installation is complete, you will need to set your audio settings again in the Realtek HD Audio Manager in the Control Panel (Classic View).
    • Some OEM computers will have a custom version of the Realtek HD Audio Manager with the OEM manufacturer's name included instead. For example it may be named "Acer [Realtek] HD Audio Manager" instead for the OEM Acer.

    Windows 10 updated last week.

    When the dust had settled, RealTek was
    gone from all three computers ;(

    I can hear audio through my headsets but
    not my speakers - which is a royal PITB.

    managed to get audio back on two ... and
    nothing I've done will restore it on #3

    All are on Windows 10 - 64 bit

    Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated

    I haven't a clue

    It's a small HP form factor with
    an intel core processor - not an
    intel mfg motherboard - don't
    know who made the board... just
    has an Intel CPU...
