When you connected your headphones, did something actually install on your PC? From what you shared, the driver should have installed.
I believe the driver for the Logitech USB installed automatically. I didn't have to do anything other than plug in the headset, the laptop read it and voila! Done.

Maybe I should point out that the Logitech headset is not new, I've had them for quite a while. The problem is new since Monday 10/10/16, I used them on Sunday all day without any problem. I even did a system restore and still nothing. I thought it was the headset but when I tried other headphone with the regular jack, they didn't work (and still don't) either.

But now, it doesn't even know it exists though it is there!

Thank you for helping me out :)

    Update 10/12/16
Logitech USB no longer showing in device manager at all, just checked this morning.

Run Command: Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\

    Click Realtek HD Audio Manager

Far upper right hand side of the audio manager UI "Device Advanced Setting".

Also make sure the correct Sound Playback device under system sounds is selected as the default playback sound source. Play a sound file and see which device is displaying a volume indication (a moving vertical bar scale indication during playback).
    Hi lopedoggie,
There's no headphone option under Sound Playback

I see you're using Win10, so try this to open up your Control Panel (below).
You should be able to find your Realtek Audio Manager there.
Once you find it, the Device advanced settings is top right in blue.

    Hi asturias7
I still cannot find the Realtek Audio Manager even though I know it's installed since it's one of the programs installed. This is what I'm seeing:

Am I seeing what I'm supposed to be seeing or is there something missing?
    Thanks :)

Does anyone else have an issue with what seems to be popping sounds when starting/ending audio playback? For instance whenever i start a video there's a pop sound, and also when i pause a video that same pop sound will also show up.

    Hi CountMike,
Realtek still not showing when I changed the view to large icons.

Anything else you can think of?
    Thank you :)

Only other thing I can think of is that it didn't install properly.

    Should I uninstall and re-install?

When you start install it uninstalls it first and finishes new install after reboot.

I had an issue with the 7950 driver. Speaker settings would reset after every boot and it also caused a performance hit in some games, as well as increasing boot time. I reverted the driver listed in my motherboard's site which is the 7727.
