Whether your problem really got resolved or not - wish it remains resolved and does not flip-flop - , what beats me is why on earth you chose RAID in BIOS when installing Windows 7, when you had no intention of employing RAID and why you ignored the messages asking you to configure RAID. "i get a bios prompt to do that but ignore it" You were all along aware that your BIOS setting was not correct.
oh it is fixed, just logged into win7 and then win10 and the drive and files are there. gparted did what win disk management could not.

proof. none could repartiton and copy 600gb in a couple minutes to fake this.
i had a genuine issue, some did not think so. and i fixed it.
