Is there a way to prevent Win 10 from doing this update? Has microsoft done a patch for this as yet?
Uninstalling update KB4048957 is really saved my day. Thanks for the help
Same issues with dot matrix on win 7 pc's. They are connected with a IP to Parallel convertor. Removed the Update and still will not print. was fine until 2 days ago.
Also:
After installing this update, some Epson SIDM and Dot Matrix printers cannot print on x86 and x64-based systems:
Microsoft and Epson have determined the cause of the issue and are working on a solution. This problem is not related to the printer driver, so installing current or older print drivers will not resolve the issue.
Microsoft will provide an update in an upcoming release.
After i uninstall KB4048955 everything work well..
dont active autoupdate for several time
hopefully help u guys

follow the same steps, the printing can back to normal, thanks
