    Hi.

So a lot of water has past under bridge.

On one device, open the Windows sounds, see if Asterisk has a sound assigned. If it does hit test. Did you hear sound?

If that didn't make a Sound click on Playback tab. What is set as default? Post a screen shot.

If you device is selected, click Configure, click Test. You should have heard sound, did you?

If not click cancel, then click properties. Walk through tabs. On Advance tab there is another "Test".

Okay then Windows sounds should be working.

Assign a sound to minimize and then test by minimizing a browser window, then maximize and then minimize.

Are you hearing a sound when you minimize?

I shut off a lot of sounds, seriously, I see the screen and I don't want the clicks, pops and whizzes.

On one device the recycle bin and start navigation have sounds.

At one point a long time ago I had all kinds of crazy sounds. For a error I had Hal from 2001 space odyssey state he would let me do that and daffy duck at the start up saying this time you push a button. Maybe that when when I went silient.

The sounds are set to be customized to your tastes.

I wonder how long that will continue. Use to be you could do all kinds of things with color, some of those have gone.

    Good luck.
