After creators update intel SST error

Getting this error in event log:
The Intel SST Parameter Service service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 3 time(s).

Sometimes I get this error when I run from BATTERY power:
The Intel SST Parameter Service service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 2 time(s). The following corrective action will be taken in 60000 milliseconds: Restart the service.

And it literally shutdowns the PC without any warning, wihout letting me know without any windows nor questions.
Like instantly one second youre doing something other second you stare at black screen.

Ant you cant even know what the problem is without opening event log.

As I mentioned in the title this started happening after creators update.

edit: Google dropped two results about this, and the suggested solutions were cmd chkdsk and scanhealth/restorehealth. Didnt solve the problem for me.

    Many thanks.
    Augiz.

Disabled Intel SST service, hopefully this fixes it. Service cant crash and force to shut system down if its not even turned on, can it? :)
BTW anyone knows what Intel SST parameter actually does? Googling yields no results.

Not gonna lie, I havent solved this problem up untill now. But I disabled Intel SST service and it kinda happens less often now (like every 3month or so), but still happened during my computer graphics exam in college, which was super terrible.

Intel SST is something about surround sound technology, so its very niche and not what I would use anywars.

Could I get more information on your laptop? Maybe its one model based issue. Mines Acer e5-575g,

Well my laptop is an Acer Aspire E5 with a Processor i7-6500U
I use it to djiing, so imagine how scared i am that this could happen on a live gig.
So far this only happened while on battery. If thats the case im more or less protected as in a live gig, im always conected to power.
But anyway, apart from Djing im also a Computer Engineer so i really want to understand why this happens and how to solve it. The info on internet about this Intel SST parameter is very limited so i guess this is not happening to lots of people

Will continue to find a solution. Right now i did not disabled the service as you did, but i changed one option.
On that service options youll have as standart 1st fail, restart service. 2nd fail, restart service and after 3rd and goes on, does nothing, so i just changed to always restart the service.
If after 2nd fail the pc shuts down, on 3rd fail and goes, maybe if the service keeps restarting, it will keep the PC active.
The time will tell as im gonna try do experiences. Will keep you informed. Do the same.

Maybe we should try to get this problem into other foruns also

Since you basically have same pc Its probably motherboard or battery related.

Yeah I remmember playing with these settings aswell. But it didnt help. There were times when my pc used to shut down at least twice a day on battery. And once it complately bricked and couldnt be powered on at all but clicking that reset battery button on bottom with toohpick got the pc back. I reinstalled windows and that kinda helped, now my pc shutdowns on battery not more often than once a month. I probably removed Intel SST service complately, because cant find it anymore. Last time it shutdown, like a month ago, was when I simply unplugged it working in ACAD, to move pc elsewhere and it immediately rebooted the moment I unplugged losing me some work done.

    Edit:
And theres basically no errors in event log for these current (even if rare) shutdowns, just some logs saying last shutdown was unexpected, and bunch of logs afterwards (same second) about initialising services, processes, etc...

If i dont have shutdowns while im on power, im satisfied. That means i will have no live gigs stopped.
However i would like to discover what causes this.
Im thinking in taking Laptop to the shop where i bought it, as my laptop is still on warranty. Maybe they could find anything as i will describe well the problem
