How can I update my BIOS?

    When I took the side off to reseat the RAM, this was unplugged. Anyone know where it belongs? Also, it’s making a long beep sound upon startup now.

    Update: That piece doesn't go to anything. However, I have reseated the memory and it still making the long beep sound.

    That is correct....all most all BIOS are updated from with in the BIOS area. There are a few manufacturers that will allow updating the BIOS from within a windows environment. I'm not sure if Acer allows updating the BIOS from within windows.

    The 1 long beep sound is your RAM.....it's not seated correctly.
