Above, device manager has flagged 2 of the same driver. There is one on the Acer website but I don't know how to install it. This computer is not Wi-Fi compatible, but it came with Bluetooth, I know for a fact.

    Consider these steps:
    Are the USB ports working?
If so find a computer with Internet access and download the drivers to a flash drive.
Move the flash drive to the problematic computer.
Uninstall the malfunctioning drivers > install the new drivers

Not according to the Acer support site....it clearly lists wifi drivers. 1 for Atheros and 1 for Realtek......depending on which your board has. It's embedded (built onto) on your mobo. It's been a trend now for modern OEM PC's.

@Plankton, I know this computer had Bluetooth on it. However, when we bought it, I asked the lady if it was Wi-Fi compatible. She said no. But when I opened the box, it had Bluetooth with it. I just had to plug it up via Ethernet. I am now using a Wi-Fi USB stick instead of plugging into the computer hard wired.

It says it's installed, but I still can't get it to show up in the tray or in device manager.

You do know what Bluetooth is for? Bluetooth is for connecting devices together....eg mobile phone, mouse/keyboard. it only has a range of 30 feet. It's not for connecting to the internet.

In windows 10 you have enable bluetooth via the "new notification" area. Click on that, if you have bluetooth installed it will show up there and then all you have to do is click on the bluetooth tile to enable it (turn it on).

I know that. But on my HP, there is a Bluetooth logo on the system icons tray and the device manager. The same goes for my Toshiba. After the clean install of the Acer, it is gone.

With all these problems your having....I'm beginning to think you should just reset your computer to factory or do a clean install. That way, windows will find and install all your drivers for you. Obviously you know not what you'r doing.....after everyone has give said same advice over and over and you keep asking telling us nothing is working.

I've asked for a screen shot of your device manager, yet you've failed to provide it. With that screen shot we can see what/if any errors are showing.

Plain and simple....it means you haven't installed the driver for it. I've given you the link to download/install it.
