Can anyone help I am trying to link your phone and PC new feature in Windows 10 Creators Fall update.
I enter mobile phone number and never get SMS.
Any ideas what problem could be?
Just for your information I am in UK and have Cortana both on PC and Mobile Phone.

Are you entering your number correctly? As the country code is already added you have to remember to not enter the first numeral (0) into the phone number box. I.e. instead of 012345678 you add 12345678.
I managed to receive the link but my phone doesn’t appear under phones, I have downloaded Cortana to my iPhone, as the feature appears to be a work in progress I think it isn’t fully implemented.

I am having a similar problem. I get the SMS text no problem, but it only has a link to download COrtana from the store. After that, nothing happens .. .I have Cortana already installed and running on the iPhone... I spent 20 minutes on the phone with Microsoft Support and they insisted my machine was corrupt. Immediately wanted me to do a safe boot and disable all services
That was not even the best... they thought I was having trouble connecting the iPhone to my PC !!??!! I can't believe there aren't any videos to follow through a proper end to end setup...
