Realtek HD Audio issues (Realtek Audio Manager not showing up)

I never thought I would be typing out a post to solve a issue but here I am.

So I recently restored my computer due to a Windows error that kept missing up my session (I wouldn't be able to load files / upload files [it was missing with my school work] and when I right clicked anywhere or anything I only saw a line with some arrows & when I would open up a File Explore all the text in the address bar would be shoved in the left side of the address bar)

So note I'm on a clean slate, newest Windows 10 update (version 1703) and I've gone to my computer support page and downloaded everything that needed to be updated (BIOS, Audio, LAN, Utilities, Wireless, USB, and Chipset [I haven't downloaded the VGA]) LINK

My problem is with Realtek HD Audio drivers. I've installed / uninstalled the ones from their site (64bits Vista, Windows7, Windows8, Windows8.1, Windows10 Driver only (Executable file)) to uninstalling / installing the ones provided on the support page on ASUS site. When I have installed one of the drivers (doesn't matter to which one because it's happening to anyone I try) the Realtek HD Audio Manager isn't showing up in Control Panel. It's when I uninstall the drivers (I remove with iobit uninstaller) that it shows in Control Panel but it will not open. I don't care for it, but I know that it's a problem because my audio is not the same (their not as loud, bass isn't as load) I don't have a crazy system but I know what my speakers should sound like and this isn't the first time this has happened. I've fixed this problem before but I never knew how, it just happened (same computer) Can anyone help me?

I have an ASUS ROG motherboard with the ASUS Realtek driver and ASUS supplied Supreme FX.
This is what shows up for Realtek HD Audio Manager

Your PC specs show 7.1 surround.

As post above, check to see if the main board/PC came with audio card or audio engine such as

    Nahimic or Creative Labs.

I have MSI with audio engine from Nahimic and when I update Nahimic, it installes with specific
Realtek driver. This is what replaces Realtek manager:

I do not have Realtek manager anymore either.

You may also want to check out the Program Files and verify the Realtek folder.
From there, you should see a .exe as in the screen shot.
Right click to run as admin and see if it brings it back.
Mine will not come back as it is replaced by the Nahimic audio manager.Realtek HD Audio issues (Realtek Audio Manager not showing up)-croppercapture-1-2-.jpg

What worked for me was going to the Microsoft Update Catalog and doing a search for "Realtek Sound Driver", here's the link: Microsoft Update Catalog

Then I sorted the results by clicking on the "Last Updated" column, which put the most recent drivers at the top. The second item listed [this will change over time] was version 6.0.1.8346, size 134.3 MB. I downloaded the .cab file and used 7zip to extract it to a folder.

Then I installed it manually using Device Manager, i.e.: Under "Sound, video & game controllers", I right-clicked on "Realtek High Definition Audio" and clicked on "Update drivers", then -> "Browse my computer..." and navigated to the folder with the unpacked driver files. Be sure you have check-marked "Include subfolders".

The driver installed with no problems. I am now running the latest driver, AND the Realtek Audio Manager has returned.
