Anyway to remove a whole series of devices

    Hi there

I seem to have a share port device installed about 120 times on Devices

any way to remove these quickly --the only way I can see is a tedious one at a time . goodness knows how these devices got added many times. I think the device is a portable modem but I only have ONE.

Anyway to remove a whole series of devices-devices.png

    Cheers

    Have you tried this one:
    http://www.uwe-sieber.de/misc_tools_e.html
Scroll down a bit to Device Cleanup Tool.

Does it show in Device Manager like that, too? Try just uninstalling it thru Device manager and see if goes away.

    Great toll, thanks!

About whole series of devices, I had a same problem with a Smart TV even I don't have it at all!
It magically appears time to time, hundreds of them.

I fix it with a Group Policy editor, look at this section procedure:
    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/wi...ific-printer-1

-there is a printer example, never mind, use same procedure for any device.
