    On what dive did you put the folder?

    Oh, didn't realize that there was a difference between a reset and a clean install, also I assumed that it would be smarter to leave the usb drive out, just in case.

    Well since you only have one thumb, you'll have to reset, unless you have another means of backing up that folder. Another USB drive or DVD. Got any?

    I'll see if one of my smaller USBs will fit the stuff I have, it wasn't much. If they don't work, I have plenty of DVDs that could work. I just need to find them somewhere...

    Ok. Good. A clean install will not drag corrupt system files, Registry entries, or unwanted software along with.

    Do you have other means to follow the thread here?

    Please be aware that when you clean install we will be doing the options to wipe and format the hard drive, so everything will be lost. You'll be starting off with a clean disk.

    Ya I have my phone, and if this clean install fixes my really screwed up computer, then I am doing it.
