Printer (hpdeskjet840c) will not print automatic font

Thanks guys i decided to order a new printer.after 15plus years its time to change :)

This sounds like either a black ink issue - out of ink? Or the print head for the black ink has gone bad or clogged.

Just wierd that test page prints that uses black ink and laptop prints fine.will let you know when i start using new printer.then ill know if its a win 10 problem or old printer is the cause.

Windows 10 problem? Or an old printer running on Windows 10 that has the problem?

I'm 99.9 percent sure it's the latter (old printer).
