    Turn on pointer

Switch in a touch pad stopped working, and a pointer is unable to move.
    How to turn this on?

On a Toshiba laptop, Hold down the FN key and press the F9 Key

On other models it is the FN+F5 key. If that doesn't work
Restart computer and press F2 and boot into Setup (Bios) look around and see if there s anything for Touchpad if it is disabled, using your Enter and Arrow Key Enable it.
Other then that, in Windows press the Windows Key+X and choose Device Manager. Do you have any yellow flags? Expand Mice and other pointing devices. Right click the device and Uninstall it, then right click any device and choose Scan For Hardware Changes to reinstall the driver.
