Headphones Not Showing Up in Device Manager?

I have a Plantronics 400HS RIG headset. Audio comes out of the headset and I am able to use the microphone attached to the headset on games. However, when I go to the device manager to see my headset, it does not show up? Does anyone have any suggestions?

You would only probably see the USB connected portion of the Headset , and it may be under HID , not have a listing of it's own .

Use USBDeview to see what the system has attached via USB , and to uninstall items etc as needed... it's a great little Program

View any installed/connected USB device on your system

I have the same problem as Adam J. My headphones are plugged into the 3.5mm headphone jack and work perfectly but they don't show up in Device Manager. I have an Acer Predator laptop with Windows 10.

Can you please perform the following [ this checks for ANY Problem Device Errors ] . . .

[1] Goto this TenForums link => Batch Scripts / Programs.
[2] Goto the heading Find ANY Problem Devices . . .
[3] Download and Run the .bat file [ Find_ANY_Problem_Devices.bat ].

If there are ANY errors it will create a Prob_Devices.txt file on the Desktop!

    I hope this helps!
