    Razer Mamba TE

when my pc is fully off. i can turn my pc on by pressing a keyboard button or clicking on my mouse.

How do I stop that? I only want it to turn on from my PCs power button.

    Is your PC sleeping?

How do you know it's fully off?

What happens if you click 'Shut down', and wait for your PC to shut down- does it still respond to the keyboard and mouse?

Hi - that sounds normal assuming the button is a power button.

It's not normal. I accidentely click my mouse or keyboard and my PC turns on. This is not normal. This never happened before.

The only way my PC should turn on is from clicking the power button, not my keyboard keys or mouse keys.

    Hi,
mouse movements doesn't turn ti on. only when i click a button.
You said 'mouse movements don't turn it on' ....

only when i click a button
I was assuming you meant 'press a button' - a power switch...

Oh, you mean you move your mouse and your switched off PC doesn't respond, but you press a mouse button and it does. Sorry, I misread your description.

So it must be in a sleep state.

    Try turning off Fast Startup.

Fastboot is already off. I turned it off a long time ago due to it not making my PC turn off for 3 minutes after it was shutdown.

Sounds like you need to go into the Power Management section of the BIOS to make sure you don't have power on by Mouse or Keyboard enabled. This is different from waking the PC by KB/Mouse.

BTW it would if we knew which motherboard you're talking about, as some functions or feature may not be available in the BIOS.

Edit. Here's an image of the BIOS settings I'm talking about...

Even though Power On By Mouse and Power On By Keyboard are disabled, I can still wake the PC my moving the mouse or clicking a keyboard key.

Thanks for confirming your PC was indeed shut down.

Fast Boot is a BIOS function - Fast Startup is part of Windows.

Fast Startup is a Windows function

That said, these terms sometimes turn up in other contexts.
E.g.Fast Boot is a software program developed by ASUS.
