    Hi samurai jack.

I have two different logitech devices. Neither have lights, just the hole for the optical sensor.

Went online and see much the same.

    Is the unit not working?

Hi Caledon Ken My old Logitech I could see the light on when I turned it over. Maybe the new ones now don't have it anymore. It works just don't know if its working like a $4 mouse or $40 mouse. Thanks for the reply
