Missing Registry keys for Auto run

I have Windows 10 operating system. For some unknown reason I have no auto run when I insert a CD/DVD into my drive or when using my USB external hard drives and memory sticks.
I believe I have had something happen to my registry as I think there are keys missing from it. I have tried my hardest to find out on the internet what to do but have not found out anything. Any assistance would be appreciated

There are several keys, you can check: NoDriveAutoRun

This setting is pretty much basic:

    Code:
    sc config ShellHWDetection start= auto
    reg add "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\AutoplayHandlers" /v "DisableAutoplay" /t REG_DWORD /d "0" /f

    Hi folks,
many thanks for your support. However, I searched the internet and worked out my problem before you replies. I was missing two registry keys in my registry. I backed up my registry, did the changes and it now works fine. Of course I have re-backed up my registry with the correct settings.

I have a similar problem. Could you please tell us where you found out the answer?
