    I do have a tale of RAM though. My 16GB pc went in for repairs, some hardware issue with the MB. I asked for the best MB available but I was told its only best with 32GB RAM.     Assuming the same speed and timings (old RAM and new RAM), the only difference you'll see between 16GB and 32GB is the "percentage" of RAM used... in Task Manager.

    Now if the new RAM has higher speeds and lower timings... you should see a difference in the RAM benchmarks.
    AIDA64 Extreme has a decent RAM benchmark.
