It's an old thread, but i think the issue might be my bluetooth usb adapter. I bought it for my windows 7 computer back in the days, but im not sure if it's certified for this version of windows. Does anyone know a good bluetooth usb adapter, that works with windows 10? Also, it seems like i was able to solve one of the problems, by enabling the background intelligent transfer service, as i can now connect my bluetooth headphones without problems. It seems like windows has had service disabled, but it's required for bluetooth to work correctly.

Bought a couple of StarTech USB to Bluetooth Version 4.0 adapters from Newegg (about US$20 each) late last year. Hooked one up to my son's Z97 Asrock Killer Fatal1ty motherboard-based PC and it immediately recognized his wireless headphones and speaker. Good with iPhone and other devices, too.

It seems like they won't ship to my country. I'm just going to buy it from somewhere else, i think.

As long as you buy from somebody who'll let you return the item if it doesn't work (or buy something very cheap), you should be OK with this strategy. Hope you find something that works on the first try/buy!

Well i got the first adapter today, this one. It works with plug and play without installing any drivers. So far, it works with my one of my anker bluetooth keyboards without any problems. I will give it some time to test it.

Glad you're making some progress, @Cerawy. Hope the headphones come up on the first try, too. Keep us posted, please.

If you got a disk or dvd with the Oricon, install that software. While my StarTech device came up and worked fine using generic drivers via Windows Update, it worked better (and for more devices) when I installed and used the CSR Radio Bluetooth stack that came with the device. Even if nothing came with the device, visit the Oricon website and see if they have associated drivers/software for it there. Might help!
