    Creators Update Breaks DUN Connection: error 633


    no way to use a Huawei Internet Key that uses Mobile Partner, after the upgrade.
    Always Error 633.

    Tried almost everything.
    Reserved port Register modification doesn't work.

    any ideas?

    Assume this is 3G / 4G Maybe need to reinstall the connection software? the dongle / key should show up in This PC as a drive where you can run the installer from.

    Or try a different USB port.

    Have you tried to update Mobile Partner to the latest version, I have found this link http://huaweinews.com/2013/11/mobile...er-version-23/

    mobile partner has not been updated since 4 years???
    this could be the problem.

    howewer Microsoft should not have breaked the DUN connections of his customers

    I use a 3/4G router these days but just dug out an old Huawai 353 modem and it doesn't work, Error 633, it did work pre CU update. A Huawai E3231 does work however it's a modem with a builtin router, so doesn't use dun. ZTEMF730m which I use on my Laptop (not on Win10) when out and about does use dun and also errors in Win10.
    I concur, MS have bust DUN in CU update.
    Now going to remove all the drivers and stuff I just installed to test the modems!
