Dell Inspiron 7000 series touchpad help

    Hi..

Was wondering if someone could assist me with finding the proper touchpad driver for my new Dell Inspiron 13 7000 series (P69G) so I can enable one finger scrolling. I went here Software Drivers | White Papers | Product Briefs | Videos | Synaptics and dowloaded the the PS/2 driver but it doesn't show the red 'Synaptics' tab under mouse settings in Control Panel like my old Lenovo laptop did..

    Can anyone offer any suggestions?

    Thanks..

    Hi ddiehl

Sometimes vendors tinker with drivers. I would head to Dell to get the right driver for your device. Note driver versions in Device Manager before and after install so you know changes have taken place.

My 17 inch show no drivers loaded or required. It does show the basic build number when you check the driver.

There are options in Win 10 for the Touchpad..

Are the other drivers, such as chipset drivers loaded from the Dell site? My one, two, three, and four finger operations work normally.
