    USB Stick is not recognized

I have a 16GB USB stick. It had the ISO file of Windows 10 Anniversary Update. Today I "Wiped" it using MiniTool Parttion Wizard. Subsequently it was "Formatted" using the same tool. Now I have Windows 10 Creators Update in my Laptop. However, Window Explorer does not recognize it though it shows up on MiniTool Partition Wizard. Any solutions?

Have a look in Disk Management and see what it says there.

I had that issue when I used Minitool.

Right click on the start menu and choose disk management. Find the drive in question and check out its partition. It should be blue. You can also right click on the drive number on the left column and see if it needs activating.

It is showing on "Device Manager" but not on "Windows Explorer".

Select it, right-click, and select quick format. Of course, this will destroy anything on it....but Windows should see it then.

Thanks. Actually, a Drive Identification letter was to be assigned. Your suggested steps were very helpful.
