    Intel Rapid Storage Technology driver 15.2.0.20?


    Is this only for Intel 6th/7th gen platforms? I'm still on 14.8.0.1042, unsure whether I update to this version...

    This is a good site for locating the 'best' IRST driver http://www.win-raid.com/t25f23-Which...D-drivers.html

    The latest driver is not necessarily the best or most stable for your motherboard chipset.

    Thanks for the link. So does this guy bench the driver/chipsets?

    It seems 13.2.8.1002 is recommended for my Z97 9 series chipset, so maybe I should downgrade instead of upgrade...

    You should use the version of IRST that your motherboard manufacturer recommends and offers for download on the page for your board.
