    I just checked. The package seems to not be listed for the AM4 chipsets, but it's there for at least one of the others.

    AMD Chipset Driver are v18.10.1810 Dated 10/26/18
    Asus Page (Crosshair VII Motherboard) are v18.50.1601 Dated 2019/03/13
    which now is current? and why are drivers different between AMD and Asus?

    Good question considering the one from Asus is newer than the one at AMD. Since ASUS is the motherboard manufacturer, they may often release an updated chipset driver before AMD to fix an issue etc.

    What version does it show you currently have installed? Windows Update may have updated to a newer version.

    Asus driver is updated because of latest BIOS with new AGESA code. All MB manufacturers didn't release new BIOS that would require it. This is for my MB for instance

    I noticed that too, its weird.

    I guess they want it this way so they can screw something up again i guess..
