Latest AMD Chipset Drivers Released

Strange... the 3.10 chipset driver changed my "monitor off" time setting (5 minutes), on Windows 10, but not on Windows 11.

I haven't updated my X570 chipset in awhile and was doing some PC maintenance, so I downloaded the 3.10.08.506 chipset drivers. I'm using a Rog Strix X750E-Gaming and a Ryzen 9-5900x CPU.

It's failing to install the AMD Processor Power Management Support, version 7.0.3.5, and it's also failing to install the AMD PSP Driver, 5.17.0. Both are showing a fail.

Anybody run into this?

This is what I see in the logs for the PSP driver

Things I have tried

1. reboot
2. delete C:\amd folder
3. sfc /scannow followed by reboot
4. disable windows defender
5. run as administrator
6. uninstalled the hardware from device manager and rescanned hardware
7. tried to install using my second administrator account.

I'm on 20H2 still

Edit: I'm dowloading and doing the Windows 10 21H2 update right now and will try again.

Edit2: Going to 21H2 didn't help. Same problem. Ran Windows update and it has everything, but still won't installed.

Edit3: Got it installed. Instead of using the AMD installer exe, I went to Device Manager, right clicked on the AMD PSP security device, choose Update driver and pointed it at C:\AMD. It immediately updated the driver.



So, I'm all set.

It's also good idea to uninstall older drivers first.

New AMD Ryzen chipset driver 4.03.03.431 available. See first post for more details.

Just installed, right over top of the previous ones. No issues on Win 10 or Win 11.
