I'm glad I found this. This was driving me crazy! I ripped my pc apart, trying to find what was causing it.
Guys, does this happen to you too? Can you test something please? If your mouse supports it :

Set your mouse polling rate to 500/1000hz , is the installer flickering?
Set your mouse polling rate to 125hz, still flickering? For me it almost stops the flickering/jumping around the screen.

Pc specs :

Ryzen 3700x
x570 aorus master motherboard
16gb ddr4 dual channel
Msi 2080ti trio
Razer deathadder mouse

It is also happening when I open Ryzen Master installer and drag the window around the desktop : https://download.amd.com/Desktop/AMD-Ryzen-Master.exe

I haven't noticed that but why are you moving window around while it's installing ? If movement is jerky it may be because installer is taking a lot of resources not leaving much free.

My pc has been stuttering recently in games, which I never saw before (in all my years of gaming), I just so happened to have stumbled across this update, and had it on the desktop, when i ran the installer I moved the installer to one side of the desktop and it disappeared, it was still in the taskbar, but completely vanished. I then reopened it, moved the installer window again, and found it literally was dancing over the desktop (not the normal flickering you see from hardware polling). Ill record a video so you guys can see.

Pretty good update, everything working fine and a bit better. Ryzen balanced Power saving plan working fine now, Ryzen Performance plan and Balanced producing same benchmark scores.

Nice, sounds like I will tell my son to go download and install this update on his rig today.
