    If it helps, some way down the link I posted earlier was this...

    I had to boot my XPS-13 9343 from USB stick ... It was simple. Created the bootable USB using unetbootin. Then booted to BIOS, put it in legacy boot mode, move USB to the top of the boot order list. Insert USB stick and let it boot.

    Trying now with this method, cross your fingers. But its really the same as the other method, just a different software but doing it now.

    it says unetbootin default i hit enter nothing happens, so it doesnt work

    Interesting. This person seems to have a play by play. Wants computer off when you plug in key. Anyway you can read and just skip pieces you don't need.

    Caledon Ken THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, The trick was to uses rufus and install win 10 using GPT partition scheme for UEFI", that did it, OMG im already in win 10 after reformat, im downloading all updates, then i will install Macrium and use my image that i had 4 days ago, hoping that works, im so happy, saved me a trip to the city, money and waiting time, thanks so much again.

    We all learned a lesson. My wife says I'm stubborn, I say I'm determined. Huge difference.

    Yes again thanks all I didn't want to give up either
    Today I had trouble with macrium reflect image software because I had an image of my system from 5 days ago
    It didn't want to work
    I could t get it to work thru the network so I had to copy image to an external and bingo I'm back to business
