    Boot Problem


    Problem just started.Upon booting, logo just going in a loop.Second boot, message says "preparing repair", but nothing happens.Only way to boot, was to restore a saved image (Macrium).Checked all drives and clicked "scan for errors", but all said "No need - no errors".I am leaving it in Sleep until I find out the problem.Thanks for any advice.Paul
    This is on my PC.

    Since it booted after restoring a macrium backup image - I would assume the problem and cause are now fixed..
    thus the no error report...

    It booted from image, but same problem upon trying to re- boot.

    This automatic repair on boot has happened to me a couple of time for no apparent reason. I just turn off the PC, switch it off at the mains, hold the PC power on button for 30s then the PC restarts fine.
