Remove files from "Files Ready to be written to the disc" list.

I want to remove a large number of files from the list "Files ready to be written to the disk" that comes up when I select my RW drive. I never burned a disc from this list.
All I see when I right click on any or all files that might work is "delete", but when I left click that, it appears that the files are being deleted from my computer. This is NOT what I want to do.
How can I just delete the files from the list, so I can burn something else?

Hello Hank, and welcome to Ten Forums. :)

You might see if the method in the tutorial below may be able to help stop this message.

Thank you Brink. I see all the methods of deleting the files from the Temporary "to be burned" folder, but can you reassure me that I will only be deleting them from that folder, and not from my computer? The warning messages that come up talk only about "deleting" the files. Some of these files go back years, and I would be devastated to lose them. That was the reason they were there. I was trying to burn them to a DVD, as backup.

No worries Hank. It won't delete the actual files, but only delete the burn to disc cache.

It's pretty much like canceling a print job.
