    Hi yrralrellim,
How about to disable one of the device?
No other device found with a yellow exclamation except for the two instances of Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family (Microsoft Corporation - WDDM 1.1). I disabled the 1st and uninstalled the 2nd. After rebooting, two instances were back and of course both had a yellow exclamation mark. Next I just disabled the 2nd instance and Windows asked for a reboot. After this reboot, there were two instances, one disabled and one with yellow exclamation. I disabled the yellow exclamation (both instances disabled) and rebooted for a third time which gave me a device manager showing the two disabled devices. No problem of course on the LCD but there is still no external monitor display.

I don't remember this problem from previous N5030's but then I had no reason to check the device manager and\or check for an external monitor display. Those previous N5030's were sold on eBay with no problems ever reported back to me.I could reinstall Windows 7 but for now I cannot mark this as solved. I may reach out to a previous buyer and see if they will report back to me .......

    Solved per se . . . .

I reformatted the "C" drive before I reinstalled Windows 7 OEM Home Premium (without SP1) using original Dell Reinstallation DVD. I installed the Ethernet and Wireless drivers to clear any questionable Device Manager entries. I installed Windows 10 version 1607 (OS build 14393.0) saving my files, etc. There is now only one entry in Device Manager of Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family (Microsoft Corporation - WDDM 1.1) and there is no yellow exclamation mark.

I guess problem is solved (at least for now if not permanently).

My thanks to all of you who have made suggestions!

Yes, I went all the way back to install the original Dell factory operating system, then I upgraded to Windows 10 and problem solved!
