I've said for years that these updates do nothing, but I thought I would give it a try.

Bottom line: Intel Driver Update Utility didn't find any new drivers.

    Hi,

Yes , but what if you have new hardware that isn't recognized by W10 ?
Would you search for an old version or choose the latest one ?

That, and nothing else is the point of having this thread here I suppose.

    Cheers,

No. Why? Because the more recent X58 Express Chipset (Core i7 920, 950, etc) isn't supported by Intel anymore. It was only supported up to Windows 7 in the case for X58 (Chipset from 2009). So, I doubt yours goes past Windows 7.
Sorry to revive an old thread. Refer to http://www.win-raid.com/t1795f23-Win...R-chipset.html for a solution.

    Hi,

That tool is pretty worthless for updating intel drivers, chipset and graphics drivers alike.
Why not use the links at the top of this thread ?

    Hi,

    It should.
If there's some driver missing then check with MSI themselves.

    Cheers,

Note that if you have everything working now I wouldn't bother to update. These aren't really drivers in the proper sense of the word anyway.
