Ya I`ve always installed it too, I just did not like the way it looked in reply #204.
The date on the driver isn't new. It's 11/14/2017 and the same one I installed when I built this rig.
looks like i'm stuck with windows ide ata/atapi as msi says the windows 8.1 ones will not work, so i did not want to mess up my stuff, anyone used them on windows 10 ? or they just throwing BS at me?
Hi,
On both a SkyLake and a KabyLake machine based on C236 chipsets (this chip and the C220 are actually workstation chipsets) I have Intel RST AHCI/RAID driver version 16.01.1018 installed which should also work on yours I think.
It will install as a "Storage Controller" driver.
Cheers,
Hello, :)
The best option would be to use the 10.1.17541.8066 version available at Gigabyte's website below for your motherboard.
