    Hi,
    Nope
If I were interested I'd just go to device manager and use update either chipset or mei listings and be done with it.

How do you update chipset in device manager, when it doesn't even show up there?
From what I understand it's not an actual diver(software the lets OS & hardware communicate), but just a "list" of names/info/data so the system can actually use the actual drivers.

I used them on Dell XPS 8900 they seam to have worked fine but they are mostly just info files and not drivers. The other thing I did was after a clean install of 1809 than another clean install of 1803 I went to device manager clicked on every device to update the driver than had it search the internet for newer drivers and new drivers did download and install for quite a few of the items. So even the new builds of windows have a lot of old drivers in them. some of the ones that were replaced were a few years old.

The different chipset devices do show up in device manager just click on the system devices and they all show when you expand that set.

I am trying to find the latest drivers for an Acer Aspire XC-603G Desktop. Where would I find them?

    Hello Jesse,

Here's the driver download page at Acer for your Acer Aspire XC-603G. They all appear to be old drivers from 2015 though.

    Product support

If you like you could download and run the Intel Driver & Support Assistant to automatically detect Intel driver or software updates to see what it reports for you.

@Brink, yes they are old. Some are from Microsoft, which to me says they aren't verified. I would rather have drivers from the original device manufacturer than from Microsoft. Acer fails to update their drivers regularly, which is upsetting. That's why I don't recommend Acer to anyone anymore.

Usually keeping them updated via Windows Update is good enough when they are no longer supported by the OEM.

Otherwise, you could try the "Intel Driver & Support Assistant" to see what it reports.
