    Had the same problem.

    Fixed it by running the chipset with a command line switch

    "SetupChipset.exe -overall"

    Took me a while to get it sorted myself ;-)

    I don't usually bother with any of this stuff anymore. Built my son a computer at Christmas, used a Gigabyte GA-z170x-ud3 mobo. Windows 10 installed, it hit Windows update, and all my hardware showes up clean and proper in device manager. The "only" driver I did was from NVIDIA for my GTX1060. Everything else from MS and all running great. No need for any downloads from Gigabyte. Well, except for the BIOS which I updated.

    Keep in mind that using the "-overall " parameter will install the entire package regardless of whether the hardware is actually present or not.

    Cheers,

    same problem

    Second Screen after SetupChipset.exe

    Code:
    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Intel\InfInst]
    "RebootRequired"="False"
    "Version"="10.1.1.42"

    seems OK without -OVERALL option !!!

    All *.INF "Drivers" included in the setup can be extracted
    <Win+R> <Your Path>\SetupChipset.exe -extract <your path>\Chipset

    To be honest, I only get my chipset drivers from my motherboard OEM download site as, in my case, they have been tested by MSI, for the current BIOS version, and ME version, and they still only offer 10.1.1.38:
