    It doesn't show up in playback. it just a desk top mic shows up in recording devices..

    Sorry, edited my orig post to incl Recording Devices, not Sound (I just installed bluetooth speakers thru this tab and had a brain fart) which is where your mic is. Follow the directions and see if Windows can configure it instead of Realtek. This presumes there were no issues updating the sound driver in Device Manager, as you said in post 1

    ya it says that everythin is up to date and working properly in drivers i did em all in sound , keyboard and games tab and audio inputs and outputs tab.

    it aint muted in controls or on mic itself. lol i wish it was
