usb port thinks mouse is a mobile monitor device

my usb ports or my mice are not broken i run 2 operating systems on my laptop (this always worked fine) and whenever i switch to linux my mice works in all my ports

My laptop has 3 usb ports 2 on the right side and 1 on the left side, once i upgraded to windows 10 i started having some problems i could only use my wireless m705 logitech mice on the left port, but the right ones had no problem transfering data to my phone so i didnt care to much for it. Afther a while this started to anoy me so i went on searching for a fix and went into device manager see if the usb's had drivers no yellow ! and if they where up to date it all said it was working fine yet it wouldnt see my mice, so i uninstalled all the usb's including the root one and restarted so it would re-install them.
Afther i restarted none of the usb ports would let me use the mice annymore (in windows) when i unplug everything out of all the usb ports it sees 1 USB mobile monitor device

when i plug in my mice it sees 2 USB mobile monitor devices so i got no clue whats going on ?

mice has no way of installing drivers manually annyone know whats going on ?

    Welcome to the TenForums @3tyson

First I would do a system restore back to a time before you uninstalled all USB ports.

Initially I would say Windows is not detecting a piece of hardware correctly and that is cascading into these errors. When you had your mouse connected to left port did device manager show it as a Logitech Unifying mouse or did you just have one HID mouse. Did you every install the Logitech software / driver?

You didn't say what type of laptop this is, can you share?

Could you also please confirm that your Touchpad has been identified correctly, right maker and model number?

hey celedon ken thanks for helping

    its a lenovo i3 4030-u with touchsceen 64 bit

ive tried resetting it while keeping files but first it crashed before it even came close to ending the second time it crashed around 50 %
and said something went wrong while restarting windows did not make anny changes

as im getting tired of this problem i decited to scrap up all the files i value most and put them in a rar so i could put it on an usb
but than i noticed the usb thats working perfectly fine with my moms laptop and my linux version on my pc tells me i have to format it on this pc so im unable to safely store my files and do a full factory reset right now... im trying to upload this 3gb to one drive but its akwardly slow...

That "device" / "software" may be being used by your phone and it just senses mice as another device.

Now I know you want to be able to connect your phone so the next steps are up to you.

I would uninstall the phone software. Once removed I would reboot and see if mice start to behave. I would also get the setpoint software I mentioned.

Not sure what your upload speed is, I would do quick format on a disk or key and copy.

See what is listed in Device Manager under mice and other pointing devices

no i am pretty sure the computer thinks my mouse is the mobile device as it kept putting it up every time i plugged in the mouse

to annyone having this problem in the future no real solution was found here since all my usb ports didnt allow me to do anny comunication annymore i decited to use a lan cable to send my files to a second laptop cause uploading just took to long
than i did a full factory reset on all drives this seemed to be the only solution for me as in just resetting while keeping files did not work

all usb ports are working fine afther reset
