    Core i7 4790K not compatible with Win10?

    Now what!
I have reserved my copy of Windows 10 on my gamer-rig, which is a Intel Core i7 4790K CPU. When checking my system, this is now showing up

The text is in danish, saying that this PC does not meet the standard for Windows 10. Windows 10 can't be installed on this PC because the CPU is not supported!!

Now what can I do about this?

I've seen this before with this processor. The processor "idles down" to save power, and Windows thinks the CPU speed is too low for Windows. You have to disable this.. I forget what its called.

Try changing your power settings. I have i7-4790 and have it set like below and have no problem. You can tinker with the range of %.

According to this thread, if you disable Intel Speed Step and Turbo mode, it will install. You can re-enable them afterwards.

Embarrassing .. that solved thread is my own.
But I was sure this problem was solved by Microsoft earlier, as I have never seen this before today in the "GWX app"

    Thank you for your inputs
