    S-ata hard drive issue

Hi. I'm having some issues with a 500GB s-ata hard drive. It seems almost unusable as it often disconnects by itself, when trying to download with utorrent I get the message "The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error". Just now I got the same message from windows when trying to create a new folder just after a full format. I've downloaded "seatools for windows" and run every one of the tests and it passes all of them. I've also tried different s-ata cables and power cables. Is it possible to have a drive this faulty without any tests being able to detect it? Seems odd

Check advanced settings in your power plan, maybe going to sleep but not waking up in time.
