I took a another look online at .ICC and .ICM overviews and specs. I don't find any reference to resolution. IMHO I don't think the OP need worry about finding a color profile to resolve the problem at hand

Thanks for all of the recommendations. I will change the connection using display port first. If still can't work, I might get one add-on graphic card.
