The 'driver' as such usually contains an *.INF file and a colour profile *.ICM. Windows 10 updates did that for my monitor, also you can get it from the manufacturer. It tells Windows capabilities like resolutions so it may help.
To best my knowledge, color profiles only define color control and rendering.
I took a another look online at .ICC and .ICM overviews and specs. I don't find any reference to resolution. IMHO I don't think the OP need worry about finding a color profile to resolve the problem at hand
