Webcam not working; Dell Inspiron 15

I bought a Dell Inspiron 15 a year ago but this is the first time I try the camera. I run Windows 10 Education, 64 bit.
The camera is Microsoft USB\VID_0C45&PID_6725&REV_0271&MI_00 USB\VID_0C45&PID_6725&MI_00

    It doesn't work, error code 0xA00F4271 0xC00D3E9B.

I've checked if the camera is enabled, the drivers and the BIOS are up to date. I uninstalled the camera driver, then 'search for hardware change' - right then it worked but a few minutes later not again.

Dell support said they should see the laptop but they wouldn't as I'm not in the country where I bought it.

    Hi, see e.g.
9 Ways to Fix Media Capture Failed Event Error 0xA00F4271

Consider trying a clean boot, then seeing if the camera works.

Otherwise, when you uninstalled the driver, did you also choose to delete the driver files?

    Something like this
    https://www.dell.com/support/home/en...laptop/drivers
will be your drivers page - you've not given the URL or the exact model.

There's no webcam obviously listed, so as you say it looks like the MS driver is the one.

    None helped.
The model is Inspiron 15 5510.
As to the camera, do you mean this \_SB.PC00.XHCI.RHUB.HS06.WCAM? If not, how can I find what?

And thank you for your reply. Have you tried posting/searching on Dell's forum?
