    Adapter Suggestions?

OK - someone asked me to read the contents of this tiny card called a micro sd.

Lo & behold my new beast does not have any slots for these so ...

do they make a usb 2/3 (the pc has a bunch of these slots) device that will accept this tiny card?

    -thx

microSD cards are often sold with a microSD to SD adapter. Example of just the adapter: Amazon.com Whoever gave you the microSD card probably had one (and mislaid it?).

If you have a reader for regular SD cards, that would be one solution.

They also make readers for microSD cards, but they may cost a bit more. Example: Amazon.com

my old computer had slots for both the micro and the sd. I think your 2nd link looks like what I am after.

That requires a USB-C port. If your PC lacks one, it may be simpler to buy an adapter that is USB 2 or 3 (type A).

There are USB 3 Type A slots, but no USB 2 Type C. I thought that you might not have any Type C sockets, although you weren't explicit about that.

The pc has the socket that will accept this device and the device performs flawlessly. Sorry for being unclear.
