Western digital Blue owners. Thoughts if this sounds right?

So just got my HDD replacement. And going from a seagate to a WD hard drive it sounds weird and a lot different, but I just can't tell if that's me.

Anyway I'm just looking for thoughts on if this actually does sound normal.

If it helps its sitting on a Z axis. And oddly upside down I'd that makes sense.

My seagate was sitting on the same axis but the magnetic arm for the reader head was at the bottom of the case meanwhile my WD HD has its arm flipped 180 so it's nearing the centre of the case.

    Thoughts?

Yes...that's the sound of any HDD being accessed. Positioning of a HDD has no bearing on how it operates.

Personally I would have opted for the Black series.

Note: some HDD's are louder than others even for the same brand.

yeah i have an SSD but not wasting another 200-ish pounds on a SSD that will only just be undercut in performance for this PC.

also black series for WD are somewhat in the same boat. quite expensive, im on a budget for this PC
