    I can't verify this works with Windows 10, but I'm sure others have tried it and know:
    Create a Shortcut or Hotkey to Turn Off the Monitor

    Actually the release notes at the bottom of the NirCmd webpage mentions Windows 10 so it probably does work:

    I tried NirCmd previously but the "power off" command only puts my monitor to sleep. It doesn't "power off" the monitor like pressing the power button on the monitor does. But yes, NirCmd does work in Win10.
