CD/DVD Drive Missing in File Explorer And Device Manager.

    Yep looks like its not found in Disk Management. Any more ideas? Or the cd drive is fully broken or probs not inserted to the laptop

    You could try removing the optical drive & re-fitting it. Should be just one screw holding it in place & this is located on the underside (or bottom) of the machine. Please be aware that is based on other portable PCs i have worked on & i am not familiar with this particular machine.

    Thanks For Your Suggestion! However, I dont want to trouble myself taking apart the laptop as I have another laptop which is able to run cd disks, just curious to see if it was possible to fix it on this computer without having to risk taking anything apart. Thanks alot for your help still! :)
