Thanks for your reply!
I just had to install a Windows 10 Update and after rebooting it now seems that the monitor turns off by itself so I think the problem is solved!

Okay, I just "locked" my Windows 10 PC and after waiting for 10minutes the screen is still on. I don't know why this is happening, but it really sucks...
Hello NiceAndShy, :)
In addition, check to see what you have your "console lock display off timeout" set as to see if that may help while you have the computer locked.

For now, the context menu can help make it easy to turn off the display until you get it fixed to do so automatically.
Turn Off Display cascading context menu - Add in Windows
I followed the advice in Option 1, but I don't have the ability to "Console lock display off timeout"
I've still got it set to 1 minute in the setting "Turn off Display after".
I'll try to post a screenshot as that might be easier for you.
You'll need to do what's in the note box above step 1 option 1 first in that tutorial to add the "Console lock display off timeout" option. The default time is 1 minute though.
I was just thinking: Is it possible that an app is forcing the monitor to stay on? I'm only running the apps I need open, but I just thought this could be possible...

Test to see if there is any specific time when the monitor does turn off, and what you are doing when it won't turn off.
Thanks!
Is this how you want it?
Okay I just locked the PC and went into another room for 5minutes and the screen was still on when I came back...
