You did not click the memory tab. It should look like this.

You have a large amount of memory being used by the "night in the woods" app, and you have another 900+MB of Chrome usage. The rest is "Standby" memory, which is basically cache memory that is available to apps should they need it. Don't be fooled by the "free" memory being 5MB, you want your memory that's not in use to be used as cache to improve system performance.

Notice at the bottom it says you have 11.7GB of available memory, and 12GB of cached memory.

You`re gonna have to create and post a snip when your IN USE memory gets to 100% as you say it does, right now it`s only at 4239 MB, which is nothing out of the ordinary.

If you would like to flush your Standby memory occasionally while you use your PC you can use a program called Rammap.

    https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/...ls/rammap.aspx

But it is totally normal for your Standby cache to eventually fill up, it`s supposed to.

Ok I will post when its at or getting close to 100 percent.

    Thanks for the information.

How many Chrome addons do you have?
I have 8 enabled. The rest are disabled. Chrome is always hogging memory though, even when I had no extensions.
